TYPE OF CAMP: Overnight/Sleepaway. Residential and Day available.
CAMPER GENDER(S): Coed Campers.
BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: Our camp is based on teaching through technical and tactical drills and then games in the evenings.
CAMP INSTRUCTIONAL ACTIVITIES OFFERED:
Soccer, and more.
CAMP LOCATION: Located on the campus of Birmingham-Southern College in Birmingham, Alabama.
CAMP FACILITIES: Dorms are very close to the soccer field and the cafeteria (all you can eat format). Dorms are in a suite setting with 4 private rooms sharing one bathroom and a common room. Indoor swimming pool and a video room for watching soccer film during lunch break.
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: You can access everything about our camp at our website. Briefly, morning session is from 9 am to 11:30 am with technical drills in a 7:1 teaching ratio per group. Lunch/swim/film from 11:30 am to 2:00 pm. 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm is tactical training in same group settings as morning session. 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm is dinner. 5:30 to 8:00 pm are he games by age group with youngest playing first and ending with oldest groups playing. OTHER CAMP INFO: Our 31st Year! We attract campers from over 15-21 states each summer. Each camper receives a Soccer Ball, t-shirt and camp gift. Every camper that has attended for 3 or more years also recives a very special gift based on number of years in attendance.
